Far EasTone Telecommunications Forward 2022 Smart Transport World Congress Shows the Achievements of Smart Tourism Application

        The 2022 Intelligent Transport Systems World Congress was opened at the Los Angeles Convention Center on September 19. It will be a four-day annual event themed on transportation transformation. Far EasTone Telecommunication, taking the "Smart Tourism Cloud Platform" as the main axis, presents a complete solution from data collection to application implementation, including three application services that can optimize tourism experience, namely, smart people flow, smart traffic flow, and smart parking system, to prepare enterprises and public departments for the emerging tourism opportunities in the post epidemic era.

Taking Riyue Lake, a famous scenic spot in Taiwan, as an example, the smart sightseeing cloud platform not only presents real-time traffic, sectional road speed, parking space information combined with images and other real-time data, but also provides customer analysis and visual charts of travel and rest behavior to assist enterprises in business layout and public departments in formulating policies and promoting digital governance through data. Among them, for the part of smart people flow, the smart tourism cloud platform is to compare the passenger footprint data with the demographic data of the Ministry of the Interior, weighted to estimate the whole Taiwan sample, and after de identification and integration of statistical data, the accuracy of data taking into account information security is as high as 90%. Then, the information is analyzed through AI Big Data to establish a tourist identification model and effectively analyze tourist activities to facilitate online marketing or promote construction.
