Far Eastern New Century Corporation won the 2022 National Innovation and Excellence Award of the Health Policy Center

        On December 23, 2022, Far Eastern New Century Corporation won the National Award for Innovation and Excellence in International Cooperation, Commercial Operation and Intellectual Property Patents with "Textile Waste Upcycling Technology".

        As a global leader in recycling polyester, Far Eastern New Century Corporation actively develops the "ChemCycle" polyester recycling technology to expand the benefits of recycled economy. In addition to making functional polyester textiles from waste fabrics with a very low proportion of recycling, the technology can recover the PET component in them by chemical method. In May 2022, it also cooperated with Coca-Cola and Toyo Textile of Japan to complete the world's first example of recycling waste polyester bottle labels into commercial labels. In order to achieve the goal of full utilization of waste fabrics, Far Eastern New Century Corporation also further processes waste cotton fiber, recycles and reproduces it into glucose, which is used for high-value bio-chemical products (such as alcohol). It has obtained Taiwan patent protection (I778720). In the future, it will uphold the spirit of innovation and continue to make progress on the road of recycling sustainability.
