Far EasTone Telecommunications included in "Taiwan Sustainability Index" for five consecutive years

        The evaluation results of the "Taiwan Sustainability Index" consistency stock were released on December 9, 2022. Far Eastern Group actively promoted ESG to be recognized by all sectors.         Jointly organized by Taiwan Index Corporation and FTSE4GOOD since 2017, the "Taiwan Sustainability Index”, included more than 300 indicators among E (environment), S (society), G (corporate governance) and financial dimensions, , is the first domestic investment-based ESG index for evaluating, screening, recognizing listed companies that actively implement sustainability.

        In recent years, Far EasTone Telecommunications has continued to develop 5G "Big Data+AI+IoT" (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things (IoT)), cloud and information security technology, and has continued digital transformation to provide more high-quality digital services of yuan and Focus. At the same time, it calls on employees to serve as rural areas' pen pal volunteers to expand children's vision; In the face of climate change, Far EasTone Telecommunications and the Taiwan Youth Climate Alliance cooperated to promote climate education in small countries, give more play to the influence of large enterprises, and work with suppliers to reduce carbon emissions. The goal is to achieve a 16.2% reduction in carbon emissions of the supply chain by 2030 compared with 2021.

In 2022, it was the only telecommunications industry in Taiwan that passed the verification of ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Guide, and was selected as the top 100 of the 2022 World Sustainable Citizenship Award, and the 2022 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award "Taiwan's Top 100 Sustainable Model Awards"; In the international key sustainability evaluation, Far Eastone Telecommunications has been selected as the "DJSI-World" sustainability stock for four consecutive years, and has been listed as the "The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, DJSI Emerging Markets" sustainability stock for seven consecutive years.
