Traceless Mountains and Wilderness, Together Reduce the Earth's Burden
Oriental Industries (Suzhou) / Ma Yangwei
In recent years, "energy conservation and emission reduction, low-carbon living" has not only become a popular phrase in society, but also relates to human survival strategies. More and more people are realizing that the Earth is facing a serious ecological crisis, and only low-carbon living can slow down the pace of global climate warming and environmental degradation. So, the parent-child themed activity "Traceless Mountains, Public Welfare Clean Mountains" organized by the Human Resources Department of Oriental Industries (Suzhou) Company kicked off in early May.
"Qionglong Mountain" is the place where Gan Long must go to the south of the Yangtze River for six times, where The Art of War's Art of War was born, and where Zhu Maichen's Reading Platform is located. In order to let everyone practice "Traceless Mountains and Wilderness, to lighten the burden of the earth", at the same time, they can also feel the cultural heritage of Suzhou and appreciate the style of "Suzhou's First Famous Mountain", this mountain cleaning activity is specially selected here. With the enthusiastic registration of colleagues from various departments, a total of 46 participants (including 21 family members) formed 24 groups of Jingshan team.
At 8:30 in the morning, the friends have gradually arrived at the entrance of the scenic area. Some people are well-equipped climbers, and at first glance they are skilled climbers; Someone brought snacks such as cucumbers and small tomatoes to replenish their energy and planned to enjoy delicious food while climbing the mountain; There are also many lively and lovely children, some wearing beautiful Hanfu, some wearing cool sunglasses, and everyone's faces are filled with cheerful smiles.
After receiving the energy package carefully prepared by the company, each group of personnel took a group photo at the entrance of the scenic area, and then officially climbed up from the imperial road to carry out the mountain cleaning operation. Along the way, they passed through Dongtian and Wanghu Garden, and finally arrived at Shangzhen Temple on the top of the mountain.
As this is an extremely popular route, there is a lot of garbage along the way. At the forefront of the queue were cute children, each without leaving anyone behind. They opened their eyes wide and picked up plastic bottles, cigarette butts, waste paper, and packaging bags on the roadside with their tender hands. Their faces were filled with pride. Gradually, as the temperature grew higher and the mountain roads became steeper, small beads of sweat began to appear on the children's foreheads, and they no longer walked like they did at the beginning. Parents quickly took the opportunity to educate the children and told them, "Public welfare mountain cleaning activities are a responsibility, we must persist, and cannot be abandoned halfway." Everyone held hands and actively searched for various garbage.
As the Bin bag in the hands of our partners gradually filled up, we finally reached the top and came to Shangzhen Temple. Watching each group's Bin bag piled up into a small hill, I was deeply moved. Everyone is really cool, using practical actions to reduce the burden on nature. Perhaps our strength is weak, but when passersby greet us with thumbs up and mothers say to their children, 'Next time we will also do environmental protection,' our efforts are valuable.
At the end of the activity, all the staff used a large group photo to record today's labor achievements - more than ten bags of garbage, a net mountain weighing up to 24kg, an average consumption of 2000 calories per person, and a reduction of 20kg in carbon emissions. We also prepared a surprise for today's environmental defenders - the blind box event, praising their efforts in environmental protection. I saw the children dancing happily, even though they couldn't wait to extract the blind box, they still lined up very orderly and happily shared this joy with the parents. Afterwards, everyone went to the Hanhuazhai in Shangzhen Temple for a meal together. Perhaps it was the seemingly ordinary plain noodles that consumed too much physical energy today, but everyone ate them with relish and praise! In the future, we will continue to practice environmental protection and make modest contributions to protecting the mountains and fields!
