At the same time, Far EasTone Telecommunications, in collaboration with internet giant LITEON and the Center for Biodiversity Research at Academia Sinica, showcased the "5G AI Soundscape Collection Device". Combining technologies such as 5G real-time transmission and AI Soundscape Analysis, the public can listen to the calls of Taiwanese frogs and endemic bird species through on-demand functions, which has now become a powerful tool for building ecological databases.
In terms of sustainable action networks, Far EasTone Telecommunications has achieved impressive results by using Ericsson's "AI Smart Energy Saving Network Application" in 2023, with an average energy saving of 25% and a maximum energy saving of 46% for some periods of time for base stations.
