Far Eastern Department Stores and Big City Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls are supporting local cultural and creative industries in a sustainable manner

        Far Eastern Department Stores is committed to promoting sustainable concepts. In response to World Ocean Day, Taichung City Far Eastern Department Stores will collect waste from Lishui Fishing Port on June 13th, reduce beach cleaning and protect the coast. They will also hold "Summer Far Way Paiwan Specialty Market" and "Love in Peace" Small Farmers Market on June 29-30 and July 20-21, respectively, selling indigenous cuisine, agricultural products, and local cultural and creative goods. They will arrange performance teams and street performers to take turns and add a lively atmosphere to the market.

        To encourage the public to use cloud based invoices, Taoyuan store jointly organized a "Tax Promotion Event" with the North District National Taxation Bureau of the Ministry of Finance on June 22 and July 20, inviting customers to donate cloud based invoices to exchange for gifts. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from the public and raised over 2325 invoices, all of which were donated to social welfare organizations.

        Far Eastern Department Stores in Hsinchu held a waste battery recycling event, raising approximately 2200 waste batteries, totaling about 50.5 kilograms, and donating them to the Hsinchu City Intellectual Disability Welfare Association.

        In addition, Big City Far Eastern Big City Shopping Malls also teamed up with the Miaoli County government to hold the "Jing Market" on July 27-28, with the theme of "Happy Rural Day", launching various youth entrepreneurship products and Lei Diao wood, presenting a new look of local industries.
