Yuan Ze University pioneers quantum AI education to cultivate high-quality scientific and technological talents

        Yuan Ze University has been implementing a new bilingual programming course since 2016, with a mandatory programming language requirement for first-year courses. The colleges of Dentsu, Information and Engineering will apply AI knowledge to their courses or provide students with 2-4 weeks of self-study on AI topics to enhance their AI application skills. Starting from the 113th academic year, Yuan Ze University has incorporated quantum concepts and applications into its curriculum, introducing quantum concepts into its freshman programming language; Engineering students in their sophomore to senior years who are interested in quantum technology can not only take the department's specialized quantum courses, but also take the component integration courses jointly offered by Yuan Ze University and TSMC, such as semiconductor physics, quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, and their applications.

        At the same time, each department has incorporated Quantum Machine Learning and Quantum Deep Learning into the original AI curriculum for senior students and R&D Center courses, and established the Yuan Ze University Quantum AI research team. Yuan Ze University will continue to promote AI education and quantum research, introduce more cutting-edge technologies and teaching methods, strengthen cooperation with enterprises and research institutions, provide students with more practical and innovative opportunities, and cultivate talents.
