Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology wins 3 gold and 1 special award at the Tokyo Innovation Genius Invention Exhibition

        The teachers and students of the Department of Electronic Engineering of Asia Eastern University of science and technology joined hands with Mount Taishan High School to participate in the "39th Japan Tokyo Innovative Genius Invention Exhibition" in 2025. They won three gold medals and one special award for their three innovative works, including "diabetes medication health detection and storage device", "home rehabilitation bicycle with physiological monitoring" and "VR long-distance sports prescription platform", to achieve the second consecutive hegemony.

        The award-winning works of Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology focus on the fields of artificial intelligence and precision medicine, including:

        1. "diabetes Medication Health Detection and Storage Device" (Gold+Special Award): Cooperate with the Far EasTone Telecommunications 5G Laboratory to provide patients with intelligent reminders and personalized suggestions.

        2. "Home rehabilitation bike with physiological monitoring" (gold medal), equipped with electrocardiogram and electromyography monitoring to assist patients in rehabilitation.

        3. "VR Remote Exercise Prescription Platform" (Gold Medal): Combining AI and telemedicine to create a personalized health care model.

        Most of the award-winning works were completed through cross domain collaboration between Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and Yangming Jiaotong University's medical engineering team. In the future, the school will move towards clinical applications and elderly care, showcasing outstanding achievements and social contributions in AI medical innovation.
