        FE SOGO Department stores has been deeply committed to environmental sustainability, service innovation, and social integration for over a decade, and has actively invested in and improved governance mechanisms. Following winning the National Sustainability Development Award in 2017 and 2022, it stood out from 147 competitors this year and became the only physical retail operator in this year's event. It is also the only department store operator in retail to receive this recognition three times. On December 8th, Sophia C.W. Huang Chairman was awarded the prize on behalf of the company.

The success of a company not only comes from operational results, but also depends on its ability to create sustained positive value for the environment and society. FE SOGO Department stores are never afraid to take the lead. Since the beginning of the Sustainable Year in 2015, they have actively responded to international initiatives, introduced multiple ISO management standards, and gradually improved organizational resilience through systematic integration. They have repeatedly driven industry cooperation and sustainable transformation. The winning rate of this selection is less than 30%, which shows that FE SOGO Department stores' sustainable performance is highly recognized, and it also strengthens the company's determination to continue doing the right thing.

        FE SOGO Department stores regards ESG as the core engine for enhancing organizational resilience, in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and has developed a unique "Sustainable Key Five Forces" axis in conjunction with its department store business model. In terms of the environment, with the three pillars of "scientific goals, innovative solutions, and stakeholder collaboration", the net zero commitment is transformed into executable business strategies, not only achieving corporate sustainability, but also playing the role of the "retail industry net zero transformation engine"; By investing in technology (such as innovation and AI), innovating business models (recycled economy, carbon pricing), and policy responses to set goals, we aim to provide a replicable industry model for Taiwan's 2050 net zero target.

In terms of supply chain management, we adhere to the concept of "friendly cooperation and mutual benefit, using the big to lead the small". Through the validation of ISO 20400 sustainable procurement guidelines, priority procurement standards are clearly defined, and a carbon reduction alliance is established to actively guide suppliers in low-carbon transformation.

        In addition to being the definer of PCR (Carbon Footprint Product Category Rules) for the department store retail service industry, FE SOGO Department stores is also the first department store to introduce electronic gift vouchers, leading the industry with continuous innovation in environmental protection. It is also the first large-scale chain department store in Taiwan to officially submit the SBT scientific basis reduction target commitment.

Starting from March 1, 2026, Zhongxiaoguan Supermarket will cancel the provision of free paper bags and encourage consumers to bring their own shopping bags to cultivate environmental habits.
