Yuan Ze University collaborates with Taiwan AI Academy to establish the Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli domain centers for AI talent certification

        On January 13, 2026, Yuan Ze University, represented by President Liao Qingrong, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Dr. Chen Lingzhi, CEO of Taiwan AI Academy (AIA), at the school wide consensus camp, announcing the establishment of the "AIA Talent Certification (AIATC) ™ Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Domain Authentication Center. In the future, priority will be given to promoting an AI talent competency and professional ability certification system designed specifically for the Taiwanese workplace, including: AIATCL (Level of Literacy) ™、 Engineering Grade (AIATCE) ™ And Management Level (AIATCM) ™ Assist working professionals in upskilling and reskill to enhance their competitiveness in the workplace.

        With the rapid transformation of the workplace ecology by generative AI, possessing basic AI judgment has become an indispensable core competency in various industries. In view of this, Principal Liao Qingrong stated that artificial intelligence should become a core digital literacy shared by all supervisors and colleagues. Through cooperation, the school will actively promote administrative and teaching units to master the basic knowledge and practical application of AI, and hopes that all school supervisors can pass the AIA talent certification, becoming the first higher education institution in Taiwan to obtain this certification.

        AIATCL ™ The biggest feature of certification is that it does not require programming skills, nor is it guided by specific tool operations. Instead, it focuses on the core concepts of AI, practical application understanding, as well as risk and ethical judgments during use, emphasizing "understanding AI and being able to judge" rather than "being able to write programs". The exam is conducted in Chinese and is particularly suitable for professionals with non engineering backgrounds such as marketing, planning, human resources, editing, and project management. It helps establish a clear communication foundation and decision-making ability in cross departmental collaboration or AI project discussions.

        This certification has been widely applied in training programs for enterprises and government departments, and has high credibility.
