Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) / Sulawesi

Under the trend of accelerating the transition towards low-carbon and high-efficiency in the global manufacturing industry, Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) (FEPV) has won the third place in the 2025 Vietnam Industrial Energy Efficiency Award for its outstanding achievements in energy management and systematic promotion of energy-saving and carbon reduction projects. At the same time, Cai Xiaonan, Senior Factory Director, was also awarded the "Outstanding Achievement Energy Management Personnel" award for his outstanding contributions to promoting energy governance and energy conservation, demonstrating the sustainable strength of the dual track development of enterprises and individuals. The Vietnam Industrial Energy Efficiency Award is jointly organized by the Innovation, Green Transformation, and Industrial Promotion Bureau under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam, and the Vietnam Energy Conservation and Efficient Energy Utilization Technology Association (VECEA). It is a national annual selection and an important driving mechanism of the "2019-2030 National Energy Conservation and Efficient Energy Use Plan". FEPV stands out among numerous participating companies, demonstrating that the company has mature and replicable practical achievements in energy management systems, energy-saving technology introduction, and carbon reduction effectiveness.
During the period of 2020 to 2024, FEPV will continue to promote multiple energy-saving improvement projects, covering process optimization, equipment upgrades, and energy recovery and utilization. Among them, by introducing a bromine chiller instead of a traditional compression chiller, the process steam is effectively utilized for refrigeration, which can save a lot of electricity every year and significantly reduce carbon emissions; At the same time, Far Eastern Dyeing&Finishing (Suzhou) factory has further improved equipment energy efficiency and reduced operational energy consumption by replacing high-efficiency motors (IE4) and installing variable frequency control systems on wastewater pumps. The above project not only saves considerable energy and costs for the company, but also becomes an important cornerstone for FEPV to continuously improve industrial energy-saving management.
As a core promoter of energy management, Senior Factory Director Cai Xiaonan has long been committed to integrating energy management into the core of factory operations and investment decisions, actively promoting cross departmental collaboration, introducing real-time monitoring and digital management mechanisms for energy data, and establishing an energy performance management model based on real-time data and performance indicators. Under his leadership, FEPV not only successfully implemented multiple high-efficiency energy-saving projects, but also strengthened energy transparency and decision-making efficiency through digital tools, gradually cultivating the energy-saving awareness of all employees, and shaping a top-down, data-driven energy governance culture.
Winning the 2025 Vietnam Industrial Energy Efficiency Award is a high recognition of FEPV's years of energy-saving achievements and management capabilities. Looking ahead, FEPV will continue to deepen its energy management strategy, combining fuel transformation with investments in renewable energy, steadily moving towards low-carbon, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing goals, creating greater value for the group's long-term competitiveness and sustainability development.
