Yuan Ze University Department of Mechanical Engineering's "Asun" team wins the Robofest International Robot Competition

        The "Asun" team, guided by Professor Chen Songyu from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yuan Ze University, won first place in the 27th Robofest International Robot Competition Taiwan Selection with a robot work that combines "fall detection" and "fun rehabilitation". This work breaks through the traditional passive monitoring mode and guides the elderly to engage in physical and mental activities through interactive training. It not only enhances safety, but also helps improve the quality of life of elderly people living alone, providing a new solution to the shortage of long-term care personnel and showcasing the innovative energy of Taiwanese youth.
