Far Eastern Memorial Hospital offers free advanced screening to safeguard the visual health of the elderly

        Many people consider blurred vision and difficulty reading as signs of aging, but if there is deformation, bending of straight lines, or black shadows in the center of the field of view, it may be a warning sign of age-related macular degeneration. On June 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital will hold a health education activity called "Love and Look Good Together" for screening age-related macular degeneration, providing free fundus optical tomography (OCT) examination and urging the public to detect and treat it early.
