The 8th Asia Cement Corporation Inspiring Life Film Festival connects generations of emotions

        Asia Cement Corporation teamed up with the "Spore Sac Cinema" documentary team to hold the 8th Inspiring Life Film Festival. The festival visited five primary schools in Hualien, including Kangle Elementary School, Fushi Elementary School, Jingmei Elementary School, Jiaguo Elementary School, and Xiulin Elementary School, and screened the award-winning work "Grandma, I'll Take You Home" from the 2025 "Environmental Survey Special Award". The film revolves around the true story of accompanying the Taroko grandmother Li Meiyi, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, to return to the Chongde tribe in Hualien to search for her roots. It delicately depicts the emotions of grandparents and grandchildren, care for the elderly with dementia, and memories of indigenous culture, guiding students to think about the meaning of "home". The protagonist of the documentary, Grandma Li Meiyi, also personally walked into the campus, accompanied children to watch movies, and shared with the director the filming process and the story of returning home to find her roots.
