Far Eastern Department Stores launches sustainable empty bottle recycling campaign

        To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Far Eastern Department Stores held a press conference on June 5th with the ESG theme of "Far Eastern Department Stores for Sustainability". Nancy Hsu, Vice Chairman of FE Retail Group, personally attended and joined hands with President Lin Jianzhong and Vice President Zhang Xiaoqian of Far Eastern International Bank, as well as representatives of several internationally renowned cosmetics brands, to sign an ESG action MOU. At the same time, they launched the "BEAUTY Loop Bar" empty bottle recycling program with ELLE Taiwan. From now until December 31st, the public can receive 1 HAPPY GO point per bottle (up to a daily reward limit of 5 points) by bringing empty bottles of designated cosmetics to Far Eastern Department Stores' 11 empty bottle recycling stations across Taiwan. Far Eastern Department Stores has also launched the "Towards 60 Grateful for You" series of activities, offering free gifts for every thousand spent and multiple credit card discounts, inviting consumers to practice green living together.

        This cooperation demonstrates the group's determination to integrate resources and promote sustainable consumption. Representatives of internationally renowned cosmetics brands participating in the signing of the ESG action MOU include: Yao Zhengwei, President of LUXE Beauty Business Unit of L'Oreal Group, He Xiaoyi, Director of Channel Operations of Est é e Lauder Group, Guo Qianqi, Manager of CHANEL Taiwan Business, Zeng Wenzong, Manager of Dior Taiwan Business, Zhao Xiaoping, President of L'OCCITANE brand, and Chen Suhui, President of CLARINS brand. Far Eastern Department Stores will continue to focus on 'Far Eastern Department Stores' sustainability as its core, combining group resources and lifestyle scenarios to expand its influence and create a new model of sustainable department stores that combines a good life with environmental responsibility.
