PFEM x FMGP join hands towards a sustainable future

        To practice corporate social responsibility, Far Eastern Group Sdn. Bhd. (PFEM) sponsored and participated in the CSR Fun Run 2026 event at Hutan Bandar Indahpura, Kulai on June 20th. PFEM encourages employees and their families to go outdoors together, unite team spirit with a healthy lifestyle, and integrate the concept of environmental sustainability into the event.

                On the day of CSR Fun Run 2026, PFEM employees and their families enjoyed the fun of sports in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to road running activities, PFEM has also partnered with FE Green PET (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (FMGP) in Malacca to set up a PET bottle recycling promotion booth, promoting the importance of plastic recycling to participants. They have also prepared small cakes and drinks as recycling rewards, and anyone who brings used PET bottles to the recycling station can exchange them, encouraging everyone to practice environmental protection actions in their daily lives.

        The most touching scene in the event was undoubtedly when many children voluntarily collected PET bottles from the scene and along the way after learning that recycling them would earn rewards. Although initially attracted by small gifts, under the guidance of parents and staff, the children personally experienced the process of "garbage turning into resources" and also developed the concept of cherishing resources.

        All the PET bottles collected this time will be sent to FMGP for advanced recycling and remanufacturing technology to convert them into high-quality recycled PET (rPET) raw materials, truly implementing the "Bottle to Bottle" resource recycling model, reducing plastic waste, lowering carbon emissions, and improving resource utilization efficiency, contributing to achieving net zero emissions.

        In addition to promoting environmental protection concepts, the organizers also use some of the event funds to purchase food and daily necessities, donate them to local impoverished families and the elderly, and provide warmth and support to vulnerable groups. This extends the value of CSR from environmental protection to community public welfare, and allows every participant to feel the positive power of enterprises giving back to society.

                PFEM always believes that corporate sustainability comes not only from operational performance, but also from long-term investment in the environment, society, and employees. The successful integration of health promotion, environmental protection, community participation, and sustainable education in this CSR Fun Run demonstrates the determination of PFEM and FMGP to jointly promote ESG. In the future, PFEM will continue to combine Far Eastern Group's advantages in resource recycling and green manufacturing, encourage employees, families, and the general public to participate in carbon reduction actions, and create a greener and more sustainable future. Because we believe that every recycled PET bottle is a small step towards sustainability; And every child who is willing to participate in recycling is an important force in safeguarding the future of the earth.
