The Far Eastern Group Annual Strategy Meeting has always been the climax of the event. Under the leadership of Chairman He Faxian of the IT Committee, Far Eastern Group has established an Information Security Committee and appointed representatives from Far Eastern International Bank, Far EastTone Telecommunications, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, Far Eastern New Century Corporation Waiting for 8 affiliated enterprise executives to serve as the first executive committee members.

Far Eastern Group Douglas Hsu, Far Eastern Department Stores Nancy Hsu President, Far EastTone Telecommunications Chee Ching President were invited to attend the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the TCSCRE Republic of China Shopping Center and Commercial Real Estate Association and the 20th CASC Asian Shopping Center Association Annual Conference on November 30, 2023.

Far Eastern Group promotes corporate social responsibility, and Hsinchu Far Eastern Department Stores collaborates with the Hsinchu City Intellectual Disability Welfare Association to showcase creative artworks by slow flying angels; Teachers and students from Yuan Ze University went to the Heng'an Nursing Home in Three Gorges to guide and read picture books for children with rare diseases; Asian Eastern University of Science and Technology students accompanied Far Eastern Memorial Hospital sick children to celebrate Christmas.

Every year at the end of the year, Far Eastern Group lights up hope in various places with splendid Christmas lights. The lighting event in 2023, sponsored by Far Eastern Group, kicked off with the opening of "New Taipei Happy Christmas City"; The Taipei Metro, Far Eastern Group Shangri La Hotel in Taipei, and Far Eastern Department Stores in Hualien also held Christmas lighting ceremonies.

"2023 New Taipei Happy Christmas City" has been lighting up New Taipei City for 46 consecutive days since November 17th. Far Eastern Group has sponsored again this year, setting up a dreamy themed lantern sea in locations such as Citizen Square and Station Square. At the launch press conference on October 27th, the representative of General Manager Shi Zhiyao from Far Eastern Department Stores Banqiao District attended.

Far Eastern Department Stores in Chiayi independently initiated carbon inventory and obtained third-party certification, while promoting enterprise management of bulk energy consumption and carbon emission projects. They were awarded the "Net Zero Sustainable Enterprise Model Award" by the Chiayi City Government and attended the "New Sustainable Net Zero Achievement Press Conference" on November 6th to receive the award.

The 2023 International Department Store Summit (IGDS) was held on October 11, 2023. Far Eastern Department Stores continued to innovate in digital operations, experience, and management, and were nominated for the top three most innovative department stores in the world. Douglas Hsu personally went to Dubai to receive the award.

The 21st Golden Award Ceremony for Private Participation in Public Construction was held on December 1st. Far Eastern Department Stores Zhubei Branch was the company's first BOT project, creating the first benchmark building in Hsinchu County that combines modern parking, gold grade green buildings, and Hakka themed shopping malls, and providing a comfortable parking environment in the surrounding area.
