Far Eastern Industries (Shanghai) Ltd.and Oriental Petrochemical (Shanghai) Corporation held Open to Public Day to build a better relationship and better life

        Far Eastern Group's Far Textile Industry (Shanghai) and Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) (Shanghai) held an Open to Public Day event on January 15 to promote residents'understanding of the factory area in Shanghai Xinghuo District. Resident representatives of Starfire Shimao Residence Committee, Mingcheng Rose Garden and Starfire Second Residence Committee were invited to visit the factory area, Fengxian District Environmental Protection Bureau, Hangzhou Bay Development Zone and to work together. Representatives of manufacturers'environmental stewardship also participated in the activities. They were personally received by Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) (Shanghai) Zhuangxiaobo President, General Plant Manager (Senior Executive Vice President), Hong Jingui Senior Vice President of Far Textile Industry (Shanghai) and Huang Chengjun, deputy President representing the SHEF group in East China.

        The leaders of the Enterprise Safety and Environmental Protection Department will report on the group's achievements in social responsibility, as well as the production, operation and environmental safety management of the enterprise, especially on the noise and exhaust gas standards, night noise and odor that residents are concerned about. The leaders of the Development Zone supplemented the improvement and development of the overall regional environment. The leaders of the Environmental Protection Bureau also endorsed the standards and regulations for pollutant discharge from the distant textile industry (Shanghai) and Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) (Shanghai) and affirmed the efforts of enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibility for environmental protection.

        After the symposium, the residents went to the factory to inspect the environmental protection renovation projects of the two enterprises, and watched the emergency performance of Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) fire brigade. They praised the factory management of Far Eastern Group. Resident representatives said that after this visit to the enterprise, we can observe many projects of environmental improvement, understand more about the management and actions of the enterprise, clear up the doubts of the past, and hope that in the future we can continue to coexist and win-win with the enterprise.
