Miss Xu Jufang, director of Asia Cement Corporation, passed away, the mourning hall is open to the public to express condolence.

        Ms. Xu Jufang, director of Asia Cement Corporation, Oriental Institute of Technology and Far Eastern Y.Z. Hsu Science & Technology Memorial Foundation, who has also worked as the vice president of Oriental Institute of Technology and director of Yuan Ze University for many years, passed away on May 13 at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.

        Ms. Xu Jufang was filial to parents, set an example for her younger brothers and sisters, devoted herself to public welfare and education, helped every president of Oriental Institute of Technology improve the school teaching environment and the education level, which made great contributions.

        Although Ms. Xu Jufang was old, she still worked hard. On the 12th, she still attended the board meeting of Asia Cement Corporation. Unexpectedly, after the meeting, the recurrence of the serious illness sent her to Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, but she didn’t make it to awake. It was surprising for all.

        On May 16-19 (9:30-18:30 every day), Far Eastern Group set up a mourning hall on the ground floor of the headquarters of Ya Tung department store in Taipei (B1, No.203, Section 2, South Dunhua Road) (please go in and out by the escalator beside the fountain in Taipei Metro Plaza) for relatives, friends and the public to mourn Ms. Xu Jufang's contributions to FEG and social welfare.
