Far eastern New Century Corporation was selected into the first "Greater China business sustainability index (gcbsi)", ranking 10th among the 200 listed enterprises in three places on both sides of the Strait and 4th among Taiwan enterprises, indicating that the company's sustainability development achievements have been affirmed.
The business sustainable development center (CBS) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School released the first Greater China enterprise sustainable development index (gcbsi) on June 24, covering 200 listed companies of Hang Seng Index, FTSE Taiwan 50 index, Shenzhen 100 index and Shanghai 50 A-share index. CBS said that Taiwan listed companies performed best in the first gcbsi, with an average score of 66.05, higher than the average score of enterprises in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Far eastern New Century Corporation was named "pace setter" (80-89 points), with outstanding performance leading the industry.

The Greater China enterprise sustainability index (gcbsi) is compiled by the business sustainability Center (CBS) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong business school. It evaluates the performance of each company in fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities and its impact on stakeholders (society, customers, employees, environment, government Contribution of investors and suppliers). Hong Kong General testing and Certification Co., Ltd. (SGS) is responsible for sampling and verifying the data submitted by enterprises, while Xinyi College under the Business School of National Chengchi University assists in compiling the data of Taiwan enterprises in gcbsi.
