U-Ming marine transport expands the green energy fleet to cover the transportation of offshore wind power and marine engineering

        U-Ming marine transport has implemented its low-carbon commitment and actively invested in the green energy industry. In February this year, it purchased two high-efficiency wave resistant CTV ready-made ships, signed a bareboat charter and officially put into work in Taiwan's wind farm. In order to expand the green energy fleet, U-Ming Marine Transport reached a joint venture agreement with World Marine Offshore A/S(WMO) in Denmark and announced the establishment of U-MING MARINE OFFSHORE CO., LTD.

        U-MING MARINE OFFSHORE CO., LTD, which is established this time, is estimated to purchase two more high-efficiency wave resistant CTV ready-made ships in the fourth quarter of this year, and officially join operation after completing the flag change and classification procedures. In addition, U-MING MARINE OFFSHORE CO., LTD also signed a shipbuilding contract of "two high-efficiency wave resistant CTV ships" with Marsun in Thailand on June 28 and delivered them successively in the second quarter of 2022.

        The CTV fleet of U-MING MARINE OFFSHORE CO., LTD adopts a three-piece SWATH hull, which is suitable for severe sea surface conditions in Taiwan. Combined with the patented soft bow hydraulic system, it will help to improve the stability of the wind farm. In addition, the fleet is equipped with bareFLEET remote monitoring system, which regularly sends reports such as crew, technicians and equipment scheduling status, fuel supply, weather observation, safety inspection and drill to customers every day, so as to ensure that onshore managers fully master the ship's operation status and safety.

        At present, the CTVs held by U-MING MARINE OFFSHORE CO., LTD have signed charter contracts. The first foreign president has rich working experience in the European offshore wind power industry. In the future, he will lead the local working team established by Chinese people to provide professional offshore wind power maritime engineering logistics transportation services.
