Asia Cement Corporation's truth finding report on renting Aboriginal reserves released

The investigation report was released on February 8, 2022, which confirmed that Asia Cement Corporation had no illegal activities in the process; On February 12, a consultation and consent voting meeting was held for the case of "Asia Cement Corporation continues to engage in land development and resource utilization of 373 public Aboriginal reserves of mining land currently approved by xinchengshan mine". After the voting results of tribal family representatives, Asia Cement Corporation obtained 83% of the consent votes. It is expected that the tribal consultation process will become a model case for enterprises to respect the indigenous peoples. In the future, Asia Cement Corporation will also abide by its commitments, implement the benefit sharing mechanism, do a good job in the work of good neighborliness and mine safety, and coexist and prosper with the tribe.
