At 8:30 in the morning, the temperature at the site has soared to 35 degrees Celsius, and has been rising with the passage of time. After the safety class meeting, the colleagues who participated in the competition immediately threw themselves into the "battle" scene. Beany sweat beads hung on their faces. Their work clothes were wet and never dried. In order to hurry up and complete the work arrangement of the day, they made time to participate in the competition.
The competition is divided into three parts: theoretical knowledge examination, on-site practical operation and theoretical defense. From 5S management to the mastery of various system knowledge, the competition will cover all aspects of daily work, so as to examine the knowledge reserve, execution ability and response ability of employees.
At 12:30 noon, the hot red alarm came as scheduled, and the contestants were still full of energy and high morale. The first round of theoretical examination was held in the meeting room of the maintenance workshop on time. By selecting the type of questions, the contestants were tested for their proficiency in such professional knowledge as the Chemical Machinery Technician Examination Exercises Collection and the OPSC Training Subject Test Collection over the Years.
In the second round of examination, the court confrontation is conducted according to the professional types of work. In order to ensure the fairness and impartiality of the assessment of different professions, the judges will score separately and then comprehensively, and the welded test pieces will be entrusted to a professional testing agency for RT testing and evaluation.
In the first round, the welder was employed, and the examination was entitled "45 ° fixed welding of 2-inch stainless steel pipeline", which is the highest 6G standard in welder examination. In order to ensure safety protection, welders must wear thick one-piece overalls, special gloves and welding masks. The huge heat source generated during welding operation is completely shrouded around them. Although the work clothes were all wet, when they took off the protective mask, their sweaty faces were red and cute.
 Then came the bench work, and the examination question was the actual operation of the application of external micrometer, internal micrometer, depth micrometer, vernier caliper, thread gauge and other measuring tools. Because the workshop is too hot, the drill place is temporarily transferred from the maintenance platform to the conference room. Although we are still sweating, we are still meticulous in the operation. Every movement is accurate and efficient. Zero calibration, measurement, reading, review, etc. are done in one go.
The third round of the competition is a comprehensive evaluation of theoretical defense. The interview team composed of the manager (deputy manager) and engineer asks questions to the contestants one by one. The examination questions and the order of appearance are determined by double random lottery. It is a pity that many contestants were unable to adapt and were too nervous at the moment, which led to the failure to fully express what they were familiar with.
The achievements and honors represent the amount of energy saved in the past. Through this competition, everyone found their own shortcomings and also found the direction for future efforts.
