Far EasTone Telecommunications ESG "Arrow" and Track and Follow the Development of Rural Areas Sports

        Far EasTone Telecommunications is committed to bridging the gap in urban and rural development, sponsoring the archery team of Ruiyuan Elementary School in Luye Township, Taitung County to compete in archery equipment such as bow body, bow arm, and professional sportswear, helping athletes achieve great results in the 2023 Youth Cup Archery Championships.

        There are only 64 primary school students in Ruiyuan County, Luye Township, Taitung County. The archery ethos in the school is flourishing. For two consecutive years, Ruiyuan has won the championship of primary school boys and girls in the Taitung County Secondary School and National Primary School United Games, and won the first place in the women's new team of the Hualien County Mayor's Cup Archery Championships. However, it was observed that the archery team's equipment was outdated and resources were insufficient. Far EasTone Telecommunications implemented the spirit of the fourth "Quality Education" (SDG4) and the tenth "Reducing Inequality" (SDG10) of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals, and sponsored the team with new equipment, allowing players to show off their usual training results in the competition without any worries.
