Far EasTone Telecommunications responded to green transportation policies and won the "Internal Medicine Transportation Green Transportation ESG Promotion Program - City Government Special Award"

        Far EasTone Telecommunications, with its project to assist in setting up U-bike 2.0 rental points and responding to green transportation, has helped the Neihu Science Park achieve "traffic congestion and sustainable carbon reduction". It has been awarded the "Internal Transportation Green Transportation ESG Promotion Program - City Government Special Award" by the Taipei City Government and is the only telecommunications operator to receive this honor. Not only that, the advertising video for Far EasTone Telecommunications station and classroom air conditioning energy-saving also won the "Enterprise ESG Activity" category of the 10th Taiwan Activity Excellence Award in 2023, adding two more achievements to the environmental sustainability project.

        Starting from 5G mobile communication services, Far EasTone Telecommunications is considering how to use mobile networks to solve mobile problems. With the concept of "low-carbon mobility", it has launched a series of corresponding measures such as "flexible shifts, shared ride rewards, and working from home" to reduce the number of people going to work in the company on a single day, wrong commuting hours, and integrated ride times, which are included as employee benefits. In addition, as one of the earliest corporate headquarters to settle in the internal medicine department, Far EasTone Telecommunications is fully responsible for its local responsibilities and has set up "U-bike 2.0 rental stations" in the public area of the headquarters building to facilitate the use of office workers and reduce exhaust gas and carbon emissions.         In addition to practicing urban sustainability, Far EasTone Telecommunications also continues to promote the "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Treasure Earth" plan, using Far EasTone Telecommunications Big Data+AI+IoT (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT)) to implement energy conservation and carbon reduction across all Taiwan base stations, using AI intelligent station selection to build 5G strongholds, combined with platform intelligent management mechanisms, and introducing platform sleep function for multi track integration, Reduce 120 million kilowatt hours of electricity and 59000 tons of carbon emissions annually; Simultaneously handling the "Class with Air Conditioning" project, using the "Energy Management System (EMS)" to assist 297 schools and 14984 classrooms in energy conservation.
