Far Eastern Department Stores Zhubei Branch won the "Second Customer Friendly Enterprise Award"

        Given that Hsinchu County has the highest proportion of Hakka population in Taiwan, Far Eastern Department Stores, located in Zhubei, incorporated Hakka architectural features and created a friendly shopping environment with a hospitable spirit when the mall was built. It also recruited employees from different ethnic groups and was committed to inheriting local Hakka culture. As a result, the Far Eastern Department Stores was awarded the 2023 Second "Multicultural Corporate Social Responsibility and Customer Language Friendly Enterprise Award" by the Executive Yuan's Customer Committee.

        Far Eastern Department Stores Zhubei Branch is the latest large-scale department store in Hsinchu County. Its exterior adopts the image of Hakka round buildings and mountain cities, while the interior reproduces Hakka ancient houses, courtyards, and old streets, presenting the Hakka culture of respecting heaven and earth, respecting nature, and valuing the development of diverse ethnic groups. More than half of the employees are Hakka people, bringing different contributions and values to the company.

        Since its opening, Far Eastern Department Stores in Zhubei has hosted a variety of Hakka related activities, such as Hakka dance, folk performances, annual Hakka Flower Drum Troupe performances around the museum, Hakka flavor cultural festivals and art exhibitions. In the future, we will continue to plan Hakka language speeches, singing, music, Hakka traditional skills, etc., so that more people can experience the beauty of Hakka.
