Far Eastern Department Stores: Public Private Collaboration to Promote Local Creativity and Public Welfare

        To assist farmers in expanding their sales channels, Taichung City Far Eastern Department Stores collaborated with the Tainan City Government on March 30th to hold the "Tainan 400 Sweet Melon and Melon Music" flash mob market, showcasing crispy and sweet melons, abundant Guanmiao pineapple fruits, sesame products, Beimen lice fish and other agricultural products, attracting a large number of people and showcasing local creative energy through public-private cooperation; The Far Eastern Department Stores in Hsinchu, together with the Hsinchu Branch of the Forestry and Conservation Department, held a "Gathering Point Trees for Public Welfare and Gift of Seedlings" event, inviting the public to exchange their invoices for seedlings. On that day, a total of 800 small seedlings were donated, and all the invoices received were donated to the Aiheng Energy Center.

        Coincidentally, on March 30th, Far Eastern Department Stores Taoyuan also collaborated with the Taoyuan Branch of the National Taxation Bureau of the North District to hold the "Spring Warm and Beautiful Shopping Festival: Tax Promotion Activity", encouraging people to donate cloud invoices to exchange for gifts, raising a total of 2513 love invoices. On April 27th, they also organized the "Water Conservation Promotion and E-billing" activity with the Management of the Second District of Taiwan Water Supply Company, teaching people how to view and pay bills online, and encouraging them to apply for e-bills. On the same day, applying for text messages or electronic bills can receive a complimentary insulated bento bag, which received enthusiastic feedback from the public.
