Yuan Ze University student Yun Wen and Yun Wu won 4 championships

        Yuan Ze University students participated in the 2024 Taiwan College Games and competed with over 10000 athletes from 142 colleges and universities. They won three gold medals in 21 competition events, including the men's singles gold medal in the general tennis category, the fourth level gold medal in the general female judo category, and the gold medal in the individual fencing category. Lin Qinghui, Section Chief of the Sports Room, stated that Yuan Ze University is committed to cultivating athletes in various fields, providing abundant resources and support. In addition, the school also creates a comprehensive fitness environment for students, hoping to attract more students with sports expertise to join Yuan Ze University.

        On the other hand, the "Cha Mou Boy" team composed of students from the Department of Information and Engineering also shone brightly in the 2024 "GiCS Fourth Women's Thoughts". With the recognition and synthesis image technology of the work "FaceLook", it was favored by judges in terms of technical feasibility and topic novelty, and won the first place in the "Creative Development Competition College Campus Group - Information Science Department Group". Jian Tingyin, as a mentor professor, stated that the advanced technology of photo synthesis in modern society has brought great benefits to human society, but it has also led to many criminal behaviors, such as synthesizing false photos to spread false information, or stealing the identity of others. The "Cha Zi Zi Zi" team hopes to use this system to distinguish the authenticity of pictures, help combat crime, and contribute to society.
