Celebrating User Breakthrough of 8.2 Million with eTag Parking Deduction Promotion

        Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection celebrates the breakthrough of eTag users by over 8.2 million. We would like to thank our driving friends for applying for eTag and supporting the green driving ecosystem. From now until December 31st, we will apply for the "eTag Parking Withholding" service and receive monthly rewards such as NTD888 and iPhone15 for uTagGo's "Carbon Reduction Car Coins". Due to the automatic deduction of parking fees and tolls, drivers do not need to worry about overdue payments or penalties. County and city governments can also reduce the burden on municipal governments by saving manpower and material resources to collect parking fees or handle refunds for duplicate payments, and the carbon emissions generated by idle parking can also be reduced, which is beneficial for environmental protection.

        Taipei City is the first city in Taiwan to provide roadside parking and public parking lot support for the "eTag Parking Withholding" service. The usage rate has been increasing year by year, saving the public the time to wait for payment and reducing carbon emissions by 1.7 million metric tons. Environmental benefits continue to accumulate (Note 2). Kaohsiung City is also actively promoting smart parking.
