Celebrate the "eTag Parking Withholding" promotion for users exceeding 8.2 million yuan

        Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection celebrates the breakthrough of 8.2 million eTag users by thanking driving friends for applying for eTags and supporting a green driving ecosystem.         The public can apply for "eTag Parking Withholding" to enjoy parking fee exemption, no need to get off the car, no need to open windows, and automatic withholding of roadside parking throughout Taiwan, and can also synchronously withhold national highway tolls. Due to the automatic withholding of parking and toll fees, drivers do not need to worry about overdue payments or penalties. The county and city governments also reduce the burden on the municipal government by saving manpower and resources to urge the payment of parking fees or handle refunds for duplicate payments. The carbon emissions generated by idle parking can also be reduced, which is beneficial for environmental protection.

        Taipei City is the first city in Taiwan to provide roadside parking and public parking support for eTag parking withholding services. The usage rate has been increasing year by year, saving people the time to wait for payment and reducing carbon emissions by 1.7 million metric tons for the Earth.
