Far Eastern Department Stores' Sustainable Relay to Protect Our Homeland

        Tainan Far Eastern Department Stores responds to International Beach Cleaning Day by calling on colleagues to participate in the "2024 Tainan Autumn Beach Cleaning Event" organized by the Tainan City Government Environmental Protection Bureau, to jointly clean up beach waste, driftwood, polystyrene, broken fishing nets and other garbage, and build a clean home. On October 5th, the "One Day Work Together to Promote Good Neighbors and Sweep the Streets" activity was held again. Colleagues, the East District Office, and local residents went to the Mayak Youth Park to clean up leaves, branches, and garbage after the typhoon. They also donated one year's worth of mineral water to the Weixiali office for volunteers to drink during cleaning, and were awarded a thank-you letter by the district office.

        On the other hand, Banqiao Far Eastern Department Stores teamed up with the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New Taipei City Government for the second time to hold the "Environmental Education Award Ceremony and Exhibition Activity", arranging for winners and teams to participate in planning and decoration, and inviting Banqiao Elementary School Orchestra to perform at the opening ceremony, receiving a thank-you letter.

        On October 5th, Far Eastern Department Stores in Hsinchu City collaborated with the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau to launch an old clothing recycling and DIY activity, collecting a total of 10267 old clothes and 555 underwear, dedicating themselves to the sustainable development of the earth.
