Yuan Ze University's technology assistance to the medical and semiconductor industries has won 3 awards at the 21st National Innovation Award

        Yuan Ze University has demonstrated outstanding research and development capabilities at the 21st National Innovation Award, with three technologies receiving honors, including:

        Professor Zhong Guobin's team from the Department of Mechanical Engineering is using next-generation PEM water electrolysis technology to produce low-carbon ozone and negative carbon hydrogen gas, helping to promote the green transformation of the semiconductor industry. This technology can generate low-carbon ozone and negative carbon hydrogen gas through pure water electrolysis in one stage, effectively reducing the use of chemicals and water resources. It has been successfully modularized and highly recognized by the industry and reviewers.

        Professor Shi Yaojia from the Medical R&D Center and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Cardiovascular Medicine Center have collaborated to develop an innovative artificial intelligence auscultation model for detecting arteriovenous stenosis in hemodialysis patients. This technology is designed specifically for hemodialysis patients and uses 10 to 20 seconds of electronic auscultation sound recording, combined with deep learning, acoustic analysis, and vascular photography, to quickly and non invasively detect stenosis with a diagnostic accuracy rate of up to 80%.

        3. Professor Chen Dunyu's team from the School of Electrical Engineering and Communication has collaborated with Dr. Guo Guanhong, Chief of the Imaging Medicine Department at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, to launch the "Artificial Intelligence Assisted Diagnosis System for Acute Appendicitis". Using computed tomography imaging and deep learning technology, it can quickly determine whether acute appendicitis is the root cause of acute abdominal pain, with a diagnostic accuracy rate of over 92%, demonstrating the strength and achievements of Yuan Ze University Collaboration between industry and school.
