Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology collaborates with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital to focus on net zero carbon emissions and AI smart applications

        On April 25th, the "2025 Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Industry University Research Results Presentation Conference" was grandly held, with Dr. Chiu, Dean Kuanming, and President Huang Maoquan all delivering speeches. This year's press conference was jointly organized by 7 departments of the school and 12 units of the hospital, focusing on the two key issues of "net zero carbon emissions" and "artificial intelligence". A total of 26 cross domain cooperation achievements were exhibited, covering cutting-edge applications such as wearable devices and smart healthcare, and initially demonstrating practical quality and efficiency, demonstrating the research and development spirit and benefits of "integrating learning with application and clinical orientation".

        The organizer also arranged key keynote speeches during the conference, with Dr. Qiu Yanlin from Far Eastern Memorial Hospital's Medical Research Department serving as the chair. Vice Director Hu Changming from Metal Industries Research and Development Center was invited to give a speech on "Hospital Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Practice Sharing and Verification", and Vice Director Li Zhengli from Ruiyang Information Solution Introduction Service Department was invited to give a speech on "Information Infrastructure Construction and Practice for the AI Era". The research sharing session will be chaired by Professor Yan Yinghong, R&D Director of Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology, and six outstanding teams will be invited to publish papers.
