On August 27th, the Financial Supervisory Commission held the 4th award ceremony and seminar of the "Trust Industry Promotes Trust 2.0 Plan Evaluation". Far Eastern International Bank, with its expertise, once again won the first place in the "Security Trust B Group", achieving a record of winning the championship for four consecutive years. This not only demonstrates the bank's strength in wealth management for more than 30 years, but also demonstrates its continuous innovation and dedication in elderly financial services. As Taiwan enters an aging society, the proportion of dementia and elderly population is increasing, and life expectancy is extending. How to avoid asset flow risks, protect wealth from fraud, and even face complex tax and inheritance planning is a common issue for many families. Far Eastern International Bank has a keen grasp of trends and established the "Far Eastern International Bank Family Office" as early as 2020, expanding the scope of trust services from "personal retirement" to "family inheritance and tax arrangements". By integrating the strength of professional teams within the bank and implementing the spirit of "One Team to One Service", Far Eastern International Bank tailors diversified trust solutions for clients to meet their wealth management needs at different stages of life.
In order to actively respond to the Financial Supervisory Commission's Trust 2.0 comprehensive trust promotion plan, Far Eastern International Bank continues to expand its "Trust Guardian Butler Service Platform". Currently, it has accumulated 17 cross industry partners, providing services covering various needs such as daily care, medical and health examinations, silver hair food, and health products, practicing one-stop services. This year, a new "Silver Light Amusement Park" section will be launched to better cater to the daily needs of the elderly population. On the other hand, according to statistics from the Ministry of Finance's 2024 housing tax and land price tax taxpayers, over 30% of homeowners in Taiwan are elderly people aged 65 and above, with a staggering 40% in Taipei City. In view of the increasing demand for housing management among the elderly, Far Eastern International Bank has added real estate leasing and management services to assist clients in securely holding and properly managing assets, avoiding the misappropriation of property rights.
Far Eastern International Bank has also integrated trust into daily life, holding the "Trust Happiness Learning" Trust and Asset Inheritance Forum in Taipei and Kaohsiung for two consecutive years. Through the sharing of case studies by industry experts, it enables the public to understand the value of trusts and the importance of early planning; At the same time, utilizing the self media "Ten Le No Setting" podcast channel, trust knowledge can be transmitted to more people in an easy and conversational manner, achieving the effect of inclusive finance. In the future, Far Eastern International Bank will continue the spirit of "Le Xin" in the "Ten Le" brand value, continuously launching innovative and diversified services that are more in line with customer needs, from elderly care to wealth planning, becoming the most trustworthy wealth guardian for every family in the face of the challenges of an aging society.
