Creating a New Vision for the Co Prosperity of Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) Medical Community

        This year marks the 44th anniversary of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital. Over the past 44 years, with the support and guidance of Far Eastern Group, Far Eastern Medical Foundation, and the board of directors, all colleagues at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital have worked diligently and continuously strived for breakthroughs and progress, achieving many fruitful results.

                Looking back on this year, it was a year of both change and challenge, as well as a year where technology drove medical advancement and advanced age spurred innovative development. Far Eastern Memorial Hospital not only continues to pursue breakthroughs in medical care, introducing new equipment and technology, and successfully performing multiple difficult and complex surgeries and treatments, but also actively aligns with international standards. Through various certifications, cross-border clinical trial collaborations, and the introduction of multiple global innovative therapies, patients have the opportunity to prioritize the use of more effective new drugs, bringing welfare to the public.

        In addition, we are actively promoting digital transformation by introducing multiple artificial intelligence AI technologies and wearable devices, which are applied in various clinical fields. We hope to work together with the industry to improve our diagnostic efficiency and accuracy, while also reducing the workload of clinical care colleagues and encouraging more clinical staff to stay in the hospital and care for patients. With the support of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "Ministry of Health and Welfare Taiwan Deep Cultivation Plan", Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has also expanded its cooperation with hospitals at all levels to establish a more comprehensive medical care network.

        While pursuing innovative growth, we also recognize that Far Eastern Memorial Hospital is not just a medical center, but a part of the community. Over the past year, we have extended our hospital services to home care or long-term care institutions, allowing many patients with mobility issues to receive proper care at home. This not only reduces the burden on family members, but more importantly, allows medical care to no longer be limited to hospitals, but truly enter people's lives. In addition, we also hold various health lectures and screening activities, go deep into the neighborhoods and alleys of the community, bring correct health knowledge to every participating resident, and deepen our increasingly close connection with the community.

        In terms of cooperation with various departments of the New Taipei City Government, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital is also committed to promoting and implementing multiple public health issues. Whether it is the flu vaccine that started on October 1st, the promotion of various cancer screenings, rural area video consultations and free clinics, or even initiating pre hospital rescue and participating in the Fire Department's emergency medical double track attendance action, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has demonstrated its commitment to community health and social integration, practicing the founder's concept of "taking from society, using from society" through practical actions.

                Looking ahead, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital will continue to uphold the concept of "people-oriented" and deepen its symbiotic relationship with the community. We deeply understand that only by establishing a friendly relationship of mutual trust and assistance with the community can we truly become the most trusted health guardians for community residents. We hope that Far Eastern Memorial Hospital will not only be a place for treating illnesses, but also a center for spreading warmth and sharing health. In the future, we will continue to listen to the voices of the community, understand their needs, and combine expertise to provide more caring and localized medical services.
