U-Ming Marine Transport collaborates with Anemoi to complete the first VLOC equipped with a rotary sail

        U-Ming Marine Transport, together with globally leading wind propulsion technology supplier Anemoi Marine Technologies Ltd. (Anemoi), announced that the "Grand Pioneer" VLOC (Very Large Ore Carrier) with a load capacity of 325000 tons has completed the installation of four rotary sails at COSCO Zhoushan Shipyard, which is expected to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 10-12%. U-Ming Marine Transport has also become the first shipping company in Taiwan to introduce this technology, further enhancing the operational efficiency and sustainable competitiveness of its fleet. This is an important milestone in the company's carbon reduction strategy, symbolizing its leadership position in promoting innovative clean energy technologies.
