The 9th person in the world! Yuan Ze University's Xu Yeliang is honored with the title of Senior Science and Technology Master

        Yuan Ze University Department of Mechanical Engineering Professor Xu Yeliang was awarded the highest honor in the field, the "Gerontology Grand Master," at the International Society for Gerontology World Annual Meeting at the end of March, becoming the 9th scholar in the world to receive this honor.

        The International Association for Advanced Technology selects only one 'Senior Technology Master' every two years, and only eight top international scholars have been selected, symbolizing the highest achievement in this field. Professor Xu Yeliang, who teaches at Yuan Ze University, has been deeply involved in elderly technology and innovative product design for many years. In 2003, he founded the Elderly Welfare Technology Research Center, which is one of the earliest research institutions in Taiwan to invest in this field. He was selected earlier than the 14th World Congress held in Frankfurt in 2024, and this year's conference held a special "Grand Master Celebration Symposium" award ceremony to recognize the winners.
