According to the "165 Fraud Dashboard" of the National Police Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, the total amount of fraud losses in Taiwan in 2025 is nearly NTD 90 billion. To strengthen the fight against fraud, Far EasTone Telecommunication uses AI technology to analyze suspicious behavior, establish a "risk level score" mechanism, provide predictive warnings, and assist Yongfeng Bank in becoming the first financial institution in Taiwan to collaborate across industries to introduce telecommunications information to enhance fraud prevention. Through conceptual verification (PoC) by both parties, it can correctly identify nearly 90% of high-risk users and safeguard the security of public assets.Enterprise customer Zeng Shiyuan, Executive Vice President, stated that Far EasTone Telecommunication has always spared no effort in combating fraud and preventing scams. They pioneered AI recognition and Big Data analysis to predict fraud numbers and block them in real time. In March 2026, "Fraud Intelligence" blocked over 200000 fraudulent phone calls and 330000 messages, with 165 reported fraud numbers being the lowest in the industry.
In the initial stage of cooperation, Yongfeng Bank focused on the high-risk list control process, using the risk level system established by Far EasTone Telecommunication to identify suspicious accounts and block account financial transactions from the source. In the future, both parties will continue to optimize models and risk mechanisms, expand their application to more digital financial service scenarios, fully implement technology fraud prevention, and become the most solid support for the whole nation.
