Far Eastern New Century Corporation and Far Eastern Apparel join hands to create a new model of circular healthcare

        On April 22, World Earth Day, Far Eastern New Century Corporation and Far Eastern Apparel teamed up with New Taipei City United Hospital and iTrash Environmental Technology to hold a press conference on the launch of the "Smart Recycling and ESG Carbon Reduction Recorder" and launch Taiwan's first "Circular Medicine" cooperation project. By using iTrash smart recycling equipment in the hospital area to recycle PET bottles, the public can receive Easy Card point rewards, which can directly offset medical expenses in the clinic; The recycled PET bottles are then processed into recycled yarn by Far Eastern New Century Corporation; Far Eastern Apparel provides a one-stop service from design, cutting to finished products, producing physician white robes, caregiver uniforms, and eco-friendly tote bags, achieving a closed-loop chain of "recycling → remanufacturing → application".

        In addition, Far Eastern New Century Corporation, Far Eastern Apparel, and partners have launched the "Easy Card for Circular Medicine", which deeply integrates sustainable action, resource recycling, and daily medical behavior of the public. It is estimated that the monthly recyclable weight is about 150 kilograms and 4000 PET bottles.

                Far Eastern New Century Corporation has been deeply involved in recycled fiber technology for many years, and Far Eastern Apparel has also accumulated rich experience in sustainable product design and manufacturing. The synergy between the two has expanded the group's circular material application capabilities from the corporate uniform market to the medical public service field, demonstrating the advantages of the group's vertical integration and achieving an important milestone in the recycled economy.

        Li Shengkai, Manager of the Green Materials Division of Far Eastern New Century Corporation Polyester Business, stated that this plan will connect the green supply chain from recycled raw materials to end applications, fully demonstrating the group's technological strength and industrial integration capabilities in the field of circular materials. Vice President Xu Weichun of Far Eastern Apparel stated that the two parties are closely collaborating on this project and hope to become a replicable cooperation model, driving more industry partners to jointly move towards a recycled economy and net zero transformation.
