U-Ming Marine Transport welcomes its first liquefied natural gas transport vessel, "DIAMOND GAS JADE"

 The 174000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport vessel "DIAMOND GAS JADE" invested by U-Ming Marine Transport's joint venture held a naming ceremony on May 19th at Samsung Heavy Industries Juji Shipyard in South Korea. This ship is built by Samsung Heavy Industries and equipped with the latest energy-saving and environmental protection technology and dual fuel propulsion engines. After delivery, it will be put into global liquefied natural gas transportation business. The commissioning of the first LNG transport ship symbolizes the company's entry into the energy transportation field, reflects its commitment to green shipping and net zero transformation, and is a key step in implementing diversified operations.In addition, U-Ming Marine Transport continues to promote fleet expansion plans to enhance global competitiveness. In the second quarter, the board of directors has approved the construction of four additional 210000 ton Capesize and four 64000 ton Ultramax bulk carriers, aiming to achieve the "dual growth" strategic goal of a fleet size exceeding 100 ships and a total deadweight tonnage exceeding 10 million tons.
