Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology empowers the new era of intelligent transformation

        The Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology is hosting the "2026 First AI Innovation Empowering Hackathon" competition, with seven cross departmental teams from engineering, telecommunications, medical management, and administrative units participating. In addition to encouraging internal units to use AI to solve pain points, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Ding&Ding Management Consultants, and Far Eastern Memorial Hospital representatives are also invited as judges and guests to provide practical advice and exchange experiences, demonstrating the spirit of resource sharing and cooperation within the group.

        In addition, given that AI technology is gradually changing the mode of shipping work, the Department of Communication Engineering has also partnered with partners such as Datong World Technology, Yangming Shipping, and Shenbo Communication to integrate satellite 5G, onboard communication AI、 Unmanned aerial vehicle inspection and digital twin technology will integrate smart technology into the operation of ocean going vessels, accelerating the development of intelligence. Among them, the Department of Communication Engineering has invested in the development of AI model training and image recognition technology, allowing drones to identify the status of containers through images and further determine whether the binding meets the requirements, in order to improve the efficiency and safety of inspections during ocean voyages.
