实用职场英文：如何传递好消息

本期「英文教室」要介绍传递好消息的表达方式，前几期分别于不同主题中，提到语言强度的应用，传递好消息时，同样也要注意语言的强度，才能一开口就赢得人心。

　　用英文给对方捎来好消息其实很简单，尤其当对方对此消息期待已久时，仅需掌握语言的强度，即可适切的表达。

一、消息本身强度较低的用法

• I have a bit of good news.（我有一些好消息）

I have a bit of good news. Our company has finished selecting the applicants who wish to join the MA program this year.（我有一些好消息。我们公司今年已完成储备干部的招募与筛选。）

二、办公室常见用法 

• We have good news.（我们有好消息）

We have good news. Our revenue this month has increased by 20%.（我们有好消息。本月业绩上升了20%。）

三、报喜讯时常见用法（半正式，通常伴随开心喜悦的口吻）

• We have great / wonderful / splendid news.（我们有个超赞的消息）

We have wonderful news. We are starting a clean energy project that will help us become a green company by the beginning of the third quarter this year. （我们有个超赞的消息。我们已经启动了洁净能源项目，今年第三季开始，将会成为绿色环保的公司。）

四、正式宣布好消息的用法

• We are excited to announce / share that…（我们很兴奋的宣布／分享）

We are excited to announce that we have signed the contract with ABC company!（我们很兴奋的宣布，我们跟ABC公司签订合同了！）

Sample Dialogue（情境范例）

Mark：Did you have a good lunch break, Sabrina?（用过餐了吗？Sabrina.）

Sabrina：Yes, I did. In fact, I have a bit of good news. There is a new food court in the building next to ours and it’s open to everyone.（有的。事实上，我有一个好消息。隔壁大楼的新美食街已经开始对外营业了。）

Mark：Finally, we have more choices for lunch – and even dinner!（终于，我们的午餐有更多选择了，甚至晚餐！）

Sabrina：We would no longer be limited to convenience-store meals and instant noodles during busy days.（以后我们忙碌时，将不再只能选择便利商店或泡面了。）

Mark：I also have wonderful news. All our colleagues who are sent to other locations and those who work from home can finally come back to the office.（我也有很棒的消息。之前分流到其他区域工作或在家工作的同事们，都可以回来办公室上班了。）

Sabrina：That’s amazing! I know there are many people who don’t like working from home because they feel disconnected and they don’t have full access to company resources.（那真是太好了！我知道那些在家工作的同事不太适应这样的模式，有时会感觉无法跟办公室接轨，或是无法完全取得办公室的资源。）

Mark：Well, they will be back by the end of the month. We had several internal online meetings last week, in preparation for their return.（嗯，这些同事将会于月底前归队。上周我们内部开过数次线上会议，就是为了准备伙伴们的回归。）

Sabrina：When I go back to my floor, I will be very excited to announce that to everybody in my department.（我迫不及待等一下就回去告诉部门同仁这个好消息。）

Mark：However, we still need to stay cautious and continue to follow safety protocols. Masks, hand sanitizers, and temperature checks will be utilized until this pandemic is over.（不过，我们仍需要注意并持续谨守防疫守则。在疫情结束之前，要确实戴口罩、量体温，并且用酒精消毒双手。）
