“Local diners love buffets and the Café at Far Eastern has always been one of Taipei’s most popular buffet restaurants. To many hotels in the market, a successful all-day dining buffet restaurant plays an essential role and ours is no exception,” said Douglas Hsu, Chairman of Far Eastern Group, “despite the impact of the outbreak of COVID-19 to the hotel industry this year, we still made the decision to invest NTD80 million and continue our renovation plan. Domestic travel and dining out is very strongly focused upon under the government’s well-developed pandemic control plan, and we are excited to bring guests back with a unique dining experience in our new Café at Far Eastern,” Hsu said with confidence.
“As part of the hotel’s long-term commitment to improving our facilities and services, we are excited to introduce the new Café at Far Eastern as we re-invent the buffet dining experience with our commitment to a high level of freshly prepared quality ingredients and increased variety,” stated Randy Zupanski, Area General Manager and General Manager of Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel. “Our International Culinary team has also re-created an array of signature dishes that are freshly made to order in the contemporary open market setting.
