Far EasTone telecommunication technology supports new Taipei and Changhua campus to launch energy management system

        Far EasTone telecommunication 5g "big data+ai+iot" technology continues to shine. The self-developed "energy management system (EMS)" has the AI enhanced learning air-conditioning demand response function, and can carry out energy-saving control according to the habit of opening and closing air-conditioning and temperature rise prediction. At present, it has supported the "air-conditioning for classes" project in 9 counties and cities, including Changhua County and New Taipei City, covering 1290 primary and secondary schools. Among them, New Taipei City takes the lead in integrating the existing school affairs system and the "New Taipei Campus link" app, providing remote control and real-time power control, so as to create a high-quality and comfortable smart campus for teachers and students.

        Gaohuanyuan, deputy president of far EasTone telecommunications enterprise and international business group, said that the EMS system can be used to monitor the power consumption of campuses, residences, commercial offices and plants, realize smart energy management, and won the "2022 Smart City Innovation Application Award", which is a concrete practice of far EasTone telecommunications to actively meet the 2050 net zero carbon emission goal.
