Fortunately, Yuan Ze University has been committed to building an information campus since its inception, actively building network infrastructure and information software and hardware, and developing various school administration information systems, integration platforms and cloud resources to support teaching, learning, research and school administration. In order to improve students' learning effectiveness, we took the lead in developing "virtual classroom" in 2002 to become an integrated platform for personalized learning and teaching services; Later, with the rapid development of information technology, we continued to develop MOOCS platform, Yuan Ze University app, open data platform...                 At the beginning of the epidemic in 2020, Yuan Ze University immediately set up a "epidemic prevention task force", with the principal as the chief epidemic prevention officer and convener, to formulate a number of contingency plans and management norms, and provide "teacher's version" and "student's version" q&a in the epidemic prevention area on the official website, update information at any time, assist teachers and students to understand the relevant provisions of epidemic prevention, and start the psychological care service in the school to provide psychological support to students immediately.

        With the epidemic becoming more and more tight, confirmed cases or close contact cases have also appeared in Yuan Ze University. All units work together and use digital tools to complete epidemic investigation notification, clearance and care; For students who cannot arrive at school, synchronous distance teaching or asynchronous hybrid distance teaching mode is adopted. The former is taught by teachers through live video and audio, and students can ask questions through voice, text, or interactive discussion; The latter is uploaded to the school portal or teams platform with pre prepared computer images, together with the audio-visual files of teachers' teaching, for students to study, review and make-up lessons. Some teachers also apply virtual and real integration to provide online and physical courses for group discussion and results publication, so as to ensure learning effectiveness.

        In May 2022, the number of confirmed cases in a single day in Taiwan surged to five figures. In order to maintain the health of teachers and students, Yuan Ze University has implemented epidemic prevention drills since May 9 to confirm that the relevant equipment, systems and personnel can operate stably. Since May 14, distance teaching in the whole school has been officially launched to protect students' right to receive education.

        Set up a medical college to innovate smart medicine

        Covid-19 epidemic not only challenges the original teaching mode, but also seriously impacts the medical capacity. In addition, the people are not adapted to the video outpatient process, and the software and hardware are not complete. It is urgent to highlight the cultivation of medical talents and the integration of smart medical facilities. Besides the epidemic, Taiwan society is facing social burdens and challenges such as aging, fewer children, and the equalization of medical areas, It is foreseeable that there will be a higher demand for medical care manpower in the future.

        Yuan Ze University, which has long observed the pulse of society, set up the "Research Center for the well-being of the elderly" and the "big data and digital convergence center" as early as 2003 and 2014, and has achieved rich research and development results and a number of certifications.         In addition to meeting social needs and cultivating a new generation of excellent medical talents, in view of the increasingly competitive business environment, the standard of talent selection has gradually shifted from "professional talents" to "versatile talents".
