Far EasTone Telecommunications "5G Ambulance" Moving Forward to Nantou

        Far EasTone Telecommunications and the Nantou County Government held a "5G Ambulance Donation Ceremony" on January 29th, attended by Chee Ching President and representatives from Nantou County Mayor Xu Shuhua. Far EasTone Telecommunications donated the 5G remote diagnosis and treatment related software, services, and equipment loaded on the ambulance to the Nantou County Government, creating Nantou's first "5G Ambulance" for the Nantou County Government Fire Department, Combined with the Far EasTone Telecommunications 5G remote diagnosis and treatment platform, it can connect the emergency medical resources and remote guidance of Puli Christian Hospital, improve the quality of emergency rescue, and enhance the health and well-being of county residents.

        Chee Ching President stated that Far EasTone Telecommunications responds to the government's public health policy by independently developing a "5G remote diagnosis and treatment platform". In 2020, it launched Taiwan's first 5G remote diagnosis and treatment application and actively expanded its base, bringing medical resources into rural areas and outlying islands.         The content of this "5G Ambulance Donation Public Welfare Program" includes: tablets equipped with 5G transmission, image processing computers, in car cameras, bone conduction noise resistant earphones and other equipment, with a total market price of over NTD 700000, which can instantly transmit high-definition interactive images from multiple angles inside the ambulance. Paired with bone conduction noise resistant earphones, it assists ambulances in synchronously interacting with remote connected hospitals or senior ambulances, shortening the time for pre hospital examination Strengthen the quality of emergency response and seize the golden rescue time.

        Nantou County is located in the center of Taiwan, and Far EasTone Telecommunications hopes to use Nantou County as a starting point to gradually promote the "5G Ambulance Donation Public Welfare Program" to more counties and cities.
