Far Eastern Department Stores was commended for their special contribution to the Blood Donation Center in Hualien

        Since 2017, Far Eastern Department Stores in Hualien has provided free venue sponsorship to various clubs for blood donation activities. Since 2020, they have independently initiated blood donation activities and provided abundant resources to help the Hualien Blood Donation Station complete its blood donation plan. On May 7th, they were invited to attend the 2023 Hualien Region Blood Donation Excellence Commendation Conference and were awarded the "Special Contribution Award".

        Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Taipei Blood Donation Center, Wei Shengtang, Executive Director of the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation, Ye Jinchuan, Chairman of the Chinese Blood Donation Sports Association, Lin Minchang Section Chief of the Taipei Blood Donation Center, and Li Lei, Director of Public Relations of the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation, all attended to express their gratitude to the donors and specially invited Guo Yingyi, Deputy Executive Director of the Eastern Joint Service Center of the Executive Yuan, and Wei Jiayan, Mayor of Hualien City, to attend the award ceremony.
