Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection promotes "safety on the road for all ages" and safeguards "safety on the road"

        According to statistics from the Dao'an Information Network, the number of deaths and injuries in traffic accidents among people aged 65 and above in Taiwan has been increasing year by year, reaching 73031 by 2023, an increase of over 30% compared to 12 years ago. Among them, the number of deaths caused by elderly drivers accounts for 25% of the total number of deaths in traffic accidents. In view of the importance of the issue of elderly driving, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection has partnered with HONDAO Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation to plan a road safety promotion event. On August 19th and 20th, the "Road Safety Seed Training Camp" will be held in Changhua County and Pingtung County respectively, to convey concepts such as parking regulations and license replacement for elderly drivers to the elderly.

        On September 7th, in response to the "Traffic Safety Month", we will work together with the Highway Bureau Far Eastern Memorial Foundation 、 Family Convenience Store, Jing Chuan Child Safety Foundation, and other organizations are planning a "National Highway Safety Driving Fun Club" to promote the knowledge of "driving must stop, pedestrians will protect themselves" through fun parent-child activities. In October, I participated in the "Hongdao Elderly Care Park Tour" and promoted Dao An Zhi Neng to thousands of elders.

        President Zhang Yongchang stated that Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection and Far Eastern Smart uTagGo are committed to working together with the government and users to create a green driving ecosystem using digital technology, and caring for vulnerable individual protection services (VIPS) in the transportation industry, jointly creating ESG sustainability development for Taiwan's smart transportation.
