U-Ming Marine Transport wins ISO 45001/TOSHMS dual validation

 Due to the unique operating environment, risk management has always been the core of enterprise operations in the shipping industry. U-Ming Marine Transport has imported the "ISO 45001:2018 International Occupational Safety and Health Management System" and the "CNS 45001 (TOSHMS) Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Management System". After months of rigorous construction, risk assessment, and internal audit, it has successfully passed dual verification and was awarded a certificate by DNV International Certification Organization (DNV) on December 18th, marking a new milestone in safety and health culture, risk governance, and sustainable management.Choo Kiat Ong President emphasized that the ISO 45001 and TOSHMS certificates not only represent compliance, but also represent U-Ming Marine Transport's perpetual commitment to all employees, customers, and shareholders. In addition, talent is the most valuable asset in the shipping industry. The company will continue to invest resources to improve various safety facilities and management processes, not only to meet regulatory requirements, but also to build a sustainable green energy and physically and mentally healthy friendly working environment. We hope to implant the DNA of occupational safety and health into the corporate culture through systematic management, so that every employee can play to their strengths in a safe and secure environment, and fulfill the company's mission as a leading shipping enterprise.
During the certification ceremony, DNV President Xie Zhenwei highly affirmed U-Ming Marine Transport's excellent risk prevention mechanism and determination for continuous improvement, and praised U-Ming Marine Transport as an excellent example of the shipping industry's adoption of ISO 45001/TOSHMS.
With the increasing global emphasis on ESG standards, occupational safety and health have become key indicators for measuring corporate social responsibility. This double certification will enhance U-Ming Marine Transport's competitiveness in various ESG evaluations both domestically and internationally.
