Far Eastern Memorial Hospital has been certified by AHA as the first comprehensive heart failure center in Asia

        Heart failure is not just about 'weakening of the heart', it often represents a warning signal for overall health. The disease course is prone to recurrence and often requires readmission, which not only affects the patient's quality of life, but also brings long-term care pressure to the family. To break the vicious cycle, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital established the "Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Heart Failure Center" in 2015, dedicated to creating a comprehensive care model from emergency, hospitalization to home after discharge. In 2026, it obtained certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) and became the first "Comprehensive Heart Failure Center" in Asia, symbolizing ten years of hard work and international recognition.
