The Industrial Park Management Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs visited Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) to deepen industrial cooperation

        Far Eastern New Century Corporation has established a complete industrial chain in Vietnam, covering polyester, fiber, and garment manufacturing. On April 10th, the Industrial Park Management Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs led a delegation to visit Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) to understand the current operating situation and explore opportunities for cooperation in industrial policies and park development. The two sides also discussed industrial upgrading and talent issues during the meeting, promoting policy and practical experience exchange.

        For the challenges faced by traditional manufacturing industries in automation and intelligent transformation, especially the textile and garment industry, which still heavily relies on human resources due to process characteristics, it is urgent to introduce automation and system management experience from the electronics industry. In addition, excellent technical talents often flow to high-tech industries, and overseas cultivation costs are high and retention is difficult. The Ministry of Economic Affairs stated that in the future, assistance can be provided in three aspects: technological upgrading, talent cultivation, and industrial integration, including promoting cross industry technology introduction, strengthening Taiwan Vietnam talent training mechanisms, and assisting in establishing industrial cooperation platforms to enhance overall competitiveness. Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) also suggests that the government strengthen support for the upgrading of traditional industries and promote cross disciplinary resource integration.
